The Apex Universities Programmes​

Excell3’s Apex Universities programme aims to support under-represented groups of students to access Britain’s top Universities.

About the programme

The programme includes accredited distance learning, accelerated learning workshops and on-site training at the nation’s top universities (to include Oxford and Cambridge).

Excell3’s Apex Universities Programme has an established track record of success in working with high achieving students across the UK and their parents. Our students over the years have matriculated into the nation’s top universities and many serve as ambassadors and peer mentors for the Apex programme.  

 The programme:

  • Raises students’ aspirations and confidence to apply to top universities including Oxford and Cambridge
  • Provides academic master classes to help drive-up students’ attainment levels to improve their chances of securing top university places.
  • Provides information, practical advice and guidance about higher education (e.g.  the application process, the admissions interview etc.)
  • Empowers parents to support their children into Higher Education

Who May Apply?

With the support of a teacher and a parent;

  • Students in year 10 who are predicted at least 5 Level 8/7 or 6 Grades in their GCSE’s
  • Those excelling in their school performance, but who are at risk of under-achieving
